We understand that the planet is our most precious resource. BWAY is committed to preserving it for generations to come. We foster environmental stewardship throughout our organization. Sustainability has been integrated into our manufacturing facilities to reduce our carbon footprint.

Our sustainability initiatives reduce our environmental impact. BWAY manufactures packaging from post-consumer and post-industrial materials. Every container that we produce is fully recyclable. In procurement, we make every effort to purchase recycled raw materials. Our purchased steel and tinplate containers are made from 25-percent post-consumer recycled steel.

BWAY develops innovative products that are environmentally-friendly and provide recycling ease. We introduced the ECO-PAIL^TM by BWAY that requires less energy to produce, reduces carbon emissions and uses fewer components than standard pails. ECO-PAIL^TM by BWAY can contain more than 30-percent post-consumer recycled resin. Today more than ever, consumers want containers that can be recycled with little effort on their part. BWAY provides packaging that meets the stringent requirements of government mandates and environmentally-savvy consumers.
